[As the Lord Wills.]
PLEASE NOTE THAT *ALL* OF OUR REGULAR CHURCH MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC
(In the meantime we are meeting online.)
The page below - from more normal times - has been left largely as it was, for now.
However, the regular monthly poster that advertised our meetings (and was posted around the town and on this website) has been replaced by something a bit different.
We were recently greatly encouraged through a 49-minute-long talk given by Dr. Voddie Baucham entitled 'The Rescuer', which is at https://youtu.be/1Azlmin_EyQ
Every Sunday, 6:30pm, for about two and a half hours: the Lord's Day gathering of the church with expository Bible teaching takes place in members' homes except for the last Sunday of each month, when a public venue is used instead and the subject is advertised on our posters. Currently the main teaching is from a range of recorded ministry. See a little further down this page regarding the venues.
Every Wednesday, 7:30pm, for about two hours: the mid-week gathering of the church with expository Bible teaching takes place in members' homes. Currently the main teaching is from a range of recorded ministry. See a little further below concerning the venues.
The first Sunday, and the Wednesday nearest to the middle of each month: the meal of remembrance of the Lord's death** takes place during the regular gathering. The meal itself is for the Lord's people only, to partake of, although anyone else present is welcome to stay and both see and hear what it proclaims (1 Corinthians 11:26).
Please note: the next place of meeting will DV be announced at the prior gathering of the church, and any regular attendees not present will be notified individually of any changes. Anyone else thinking of coming should phone 01404 813417 after 6pm, for details.
We gather mostly in members' homes, but on the last Sunday evening of each month we do so at the Institute in Yonder Street. Our main poster usually (though not always) relates to the last Sunday of the month. Please note that venue arrangements are not fixed and may be changed from time to time, especially during the winter months, so if you are thinking of coming please 'phone 01404 813417 after 6pm, for details of the next gathering. The story of the Exeter Protestant Martyrs is here.
